Episode 2: Leadership, Mentorship, and Peer Review With Jerome Kassirer

What a treat to speak with a legend: Jerome Kassirer, MD, who held the position of editor-in-chief of the New England Journal of Medicine, arguably the most prestigious medical journal in the world. We discussed his views on how social media and digital dissemination are impacting research and peer review.

We discussed his path and his upbringing as well as his phenomenal book “Unanticipated Outcomes”. In this book, he chronicled his journey and the amazing life lessons he acquired. Although this was my second episode of my podcast, it remains one of my absolute favorites.
